Mike Husher is a Charger fan living in England. In 2002 Mike traveled to the United States and then across the country following the Chargers on their 2002 season. After he returned home he turned his journal of that ultimate fan trip into a book that is now available in paperback.
This book is a must have for any Charger fan. Not only does it tell the tale of the Chargers' 2002 season from a fan's perspective, it includes the adventures, seen and unforseen, of a trip that not only spans the country, but spans the world.
Below is a link to a portion of the first chapter of this book, which I posted on our message board some time back.
This is a story that took Mike from the 105-degree heat of Tempe, Arizona to the frozen city of Buffalo, New York covering a time when the US was preparing for war and a sniper was terrorizing the Washington DC area. It's an Englishman's look at American life, an Englishman who also happens to be a Charger Fan.
